About Creekbass

I’ve enjoyed bass fishing, mostly on the Tennessee river, for as long as I can remember. Over the years I’ve grown from being a young child, more worried about what kind of snacks we brought on board, to the bass fishing obsessed adult I am today!

Going bass fishing is an incredibly rewarding experience that combines the thrill of the hunt with the tranquility of being immersed in nature. The anticipation of the catch, coupled with the strategic aspect of choosing the right bait and finding the perfect spot, makes it a truly engaging activity. Each outing is a unique adventure, as bass are known for their unpredictable behavior, which challenges both novice and experienced anglers alike. The excitement of feeling a bass strike and the ensuing battle to reel it in is an adrenaline rush that’s hard to match. The satisfaction of successfully catching a bass, especially a large one, brings a sense of accomplishment and respect for the creature and the ecosystem it inhabits.

Moreover, bass fishing provides a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing for moments of reflection and relaxation amidst the beauty of nature’s waterways. Whether it’s the gentle rocking of a boat on a calm lake, the soothing sound of water lapping against the shore, or the spectacular display of a sunrise or sunset over the water, the setting of bass fishing is as much a part of the appeal as the activity itself. It’s a time to disconnect from technology and reconnect with the natural world, offering a peaceful respite that nourishes the soul. The camaraderie shared with fellow anglers or the solitude of a solo trip both serve as a reminder of the simple joys that life has to offer, making bass fishing a cherished pastime for many.

Our goal with this bass fishing blog is to help shed some light on why we love it so much and maybe provide some aid to up and coming fisherman!
